Ha! (One Dead Troll in a Baggie) Empty Ha

Very funny. Loved all the characters and Wes did a great job with the changes in his voice, gender, accents etc. Lots of hip references, drugs, sex, swearing which works for me. Great venue with lots of good seats. I always enjoyed the 3 Dead Trolls in a Baggy and now I can enjoy the one Troll. Great energy for a solo performance.

Really interesting, amusing and tight story line. Man, this guy has energy! Definitely worth seeing. 4 out of 5. Really didn't like the venue, though...a friendly server kept asking people if they wanted drinks during the performance, and there was actually an intermission in this one-hour show, which I suspect the venue required in order to sell more beverages...too bad. In this genre - solo actor in an autobiography (real or imagined)- Wes Borg is the master! He had my attention from the moment he stepped on stage with crisp delineations to all of his characters - the back and forth duo dialogues were side splittingly funny without being forced.

Buy advance tickets if you want to see this show before the end of the fringe.

Ha! (One Dead Troll in a Baggie) Empty Didn't get it

Don't get me wrong, I think this guy had a lot of energy and has talent, but I didn't find the show very funny, and I didn't hear many laughs from the people around me, either. I just didn't care about any of the characters, least of all the main one, because they were all pretty lacking in depth, and that led me to not care about the story. As an aside, the woman who got up to introduce the show was annoying as hell.
