The Skinny Presents: Adventures in X Ray Theatre

There are two main reasons why I went to see this show. The first is because I saw a long line for opening night, and wondered what everyone seemed to think would be so good. The second is that I had a nice big space of time before the next show I wanted to see. (It might also have something to do with the Franz Ferdinand-type look of the young men...) The Skinny could easily have been a piece of crap. Their show could easily have been three people being silly, and me thinking they were idiots. But it wasn't. While it wasn't the best piece of comedy I've seen, it was funny, it was fun, and the trio were full of energy and not afraid to take off their clothes and wear nipple tassles. If you could only see one show at this year's Fringe, this would not be it. But if you have the time, why not get The Skinny? ****
