Saw Letters at Large a couple of years ago - a fave

Post  teenage aesthete on Tue Aug 26, 2008 4:33 am

...was one of my favourite shows that year - it's not the kind of show-show or actorly "performance" you normally see at the fringe, but it's very, very funny. Now he's back with new material. A reminder that sometimes at the Fringe you see something you don't expect that opens your eyes and is deeply enjoyable.

Great experience

While this may not be theatre in the traditional sense it's a real charmer. The performer is engaging and funny and the letters are a scream. His summation of why he sends letters to various corporations, societies and the like is both sweet and subconciously inspiring. Well worth a viewing!

I agree. Sweet and gentle in a CBC spoken word kind of way. Would make a good book. Now I know why there are no monsters under the bed.
