What can I say? Jem Rolls is always excellent, and he doesn't disappoint this time. That wonderful stream of tasty verbiage and imagery. Just go see it. 4 1/2 out of 5. Phil

Like Bukowski of the stage. Pairs well with TJ Dawe's show, because I feel Jem Rolls emobodies the energy of Bukowksi, without the crassness or the lewdness, but it's still in your face and raw. Something that inspried Dawe, being one of his Totems. So see both of these shows, they're Fringe classics. And like other Fringe classics you never know if you'll ever see it again.

Oh and thank you to the couple that left in mid performance. It only made the show energy stronger.

Got to be the best performance poetry I have ever seen. Magnificent.

It's always impressive to see Jem work. And does he WORK. He was so drenched in sweat by the end of the performance it was as if he'd stepped fully clothed into a shower stall. His work is poetry - thoughtful and alive. I sometimes wish he would allow for some variation in his delivery - he tends to stress everything. I get that this is slam poetry, but I wanted some levels. But he always brought me right back on side. And the section about a certain Kenny Rogers song had me googling the lyrics when I got home.
